Attaché Training Program Instructor
This position requires an active TS/SCI with Counterintelligence Polygraph clearance to be considered.
Cherokee Preting is seeking an Attaché Training Program Instructor. The Attaché Training Program Instructor will design, publish and present instructional lessons for Joint Military Attaché School (JMAS) students in accordance with JMAS SOPs and program standards. The ATP Instructor must be able to instruct with authority over the entire range of Defense Attaché Service topics.
Compensation & Benefits:
Estimated starting salary range: $130,000 - $145,000. Pay commensurate with experience.

Attaché Training Program Instructor Responsibilities Include:
- Design, publish, and present instructional lessons.
- Coordinate guest lecturers and ensure that the guest lecturer materials and presentations meet JMAS standards.
- Serve as Seminar Director and provide mentoring to JMAS students.
- Serve as Course Director when designated to administer, evaluate, synchronize, and manage blocks of instruction in the ATP curriculum in accordance with established ATP and JMAS standards.
- Serve as Primary Point of Contact for JMAS off-site exercises.
- Responsible for direct coordination with outside agencies in support of lessons and exercises
- Review and adjust all exercise-related materials before each class iteration.
- Coordinate with exercise Role Players and JMAS Faculty attending JMAS attending JMAS exercises before each exercise iteration.
- Assess the performance of the Role Players against learning objectives and provide feedback.
- Conduct faculty after-action review within 24 hours of off-site exercises for which they are lead.
- Provide off-site faculty support.
- Perform all other instructor functions related to the administration, design, delivery, execution, and maintenance of assigned training blocks and program duties.
- Support ongoing JMAS accreditation activities.
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
Attaché Training Program Instructor Experience, Education, Skills, Abilities requested:
- Minimum of ten (10) years of experience in Department of Defense (DoD) environments
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
- Successful completion of a minimum of one (1) tour as one of the following in the Defense Attaché Service:
- Defense Attaché
- Defense Liaison Officer
- Assistant Defense Attaché
- Myers Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) certification preferred.
- EQ-i2.0 & 360 Emotional Quotient Inventory certification preferred.
- Must pass pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal
