Business Financial Operations Manager
A Business Financial Operations Manager oversees and coordinates financial activities within an organization to ensure efficient and effective operations. Compensation & Benefits:
Estimated Starting Salary Range for Business Financial Operations Manager: $120-125K per year.
Pay commensurate with experience.
Full time benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K and other possible benefits as provided. Benefits are subject to change with or without notice.
Business Financial Operations Manager Responsibilities Include:
- Manage and provide analysis for the Planning & Program Development (PPD) branch of Mission Support Facilities (MSF).
- Create executive summaries and other files for presentations to upper management.
- Compile a summary of ongoing issues in a logical framework to include the summary of the issue(s) and recommended action plan that is presented to management.
- Use the following software applications and data analysis tools for filtering, spreadsheet modeling, and data manipulation and other relevant data analysis functionality: R/3 (SAP), SAP Business Information Warehouse, Microsoft Project, using pivot tables, within Microsoft Excel.
- Develop contract reservations and Purchase Requests (certification of fund).
- Create a consistent framework to deconstruct a variety of issues, quickly identifying any root causes.
- Prepare leadership-level presentations in a format that includes an executive summary, plan of action, and timeline of major milestones.
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned
Business Financial Operations Manager Experience, Education, Skills, Abilities requested:
- A Business Management Degree with at least 5 years’ experience is preferred or 10 years of extensive business management and budgeting background experience to include large scale financial planning to encompass multi-million-dollar accounts
- Effective communicator among all levels of management and staff.
- Ability to organize, coordinate, and focus the efforts of others.
- Ability to work as part of a team environment as well as independently.
- Possess advanced analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Working knowledge of a recent version of the Microsoft Office Suite of Applications (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint etc.) is a must.
- Proficient with Microsoft SharePoint, TRIRIGA Facility Management System is preferred.
- Familiarity with using Pivot Tables, V-lookup, Filtering and Data sorting is required.
- Ability to pass a federal background check.
- Past applicable job experience may include, but is not limited to: financial analyst, operations manager, and financial controller.
- Must pass pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal
