Janitor
As our governmental client requires, this position requires being a US Citizen.
Perform routine cleaning duties of facility, maintain supplies, and inspect building for repairs.
Compensation & Benefits:
Estimated Starting Salary Range for Janitor: Hourly wage starts at $15.00
Pay commensurate with experience.
Full time benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, and other possible benefits as provided. Benefits are subject to change with or without notice.
Janitor Responsibilities Include:
- Cleans and polishes fixtures, surfaces, and trim.
- Sweeps, scrubs, waxes, and polishes floors.
- Dusts furniture and equipment.
- Washes walls, windows, door panels, and ceiling.
- Transports trash and waste to disposal area.
- Replenishes bathroom supplies.
- Transports small equipment or tools between departments.
- Sets up tables and chairs, as required.
- Maintains supply room and reports supply shortages.
- Inspects and disposes of litter from grounds.
- Inspects building structure for repairs and reports findings.
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
Janitor Experience, Education, Skills, Abilities requested:
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED). This is an entry level position with little to no previous work experience required.
- Basic written and communication skills.
- Ability to understand and carry out written or oral instructions.
- Ability to problem solve and identify solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems.
- Must pass pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal.
- No travel required
- Schedule M-F 7-330pm or 8-430pm
- 100% on-site
