Ramona, is searching for a sharp and reliable Part-Time Drop Count Lead to join our dynamic team. This isn't your average desk job – you'll be the guardian of the green, ensuring every penny goes where it should. In this role, you'll be the key player in ensuring the smooth and secure collection and counting of casino cash. You'll lead your team by providing guidance, training, and ensuring adherence to all casino policies.
- Guide your team on casino policies and procedures, ensuring accurate cash handling. Provide feedback and evaluations to help them excel.
- Ensure equipment and supplies are functioning properly for a smooth and efficient work environment.
- Develop and deliver training programs to equip new Drop Count Associates with the skills they need to succeed.
- Oversee cash collection from slot machines, tables, and kiosks. Work alongside your team to ensure accurate counting and timely reporting.
- Coordinate drop schedules with Casino Operations and Cage Management for seamless cash flow.
- Ensure all drops are completed by designated deadlines to maintain accurate accounting records.
- Be vigilant in protecting casino assets and report any suspicious activity to maintain a secure environment.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment that prioritizes excellent customer service.
- Wear steel-toed shoes and a company uniform as required for the role.
- Meet with team members to discuss performance and provide ongoing support.
- Be prepared to take on additional responsibilities as needed to ensure smooth operations.
- We're looking for someone with a minimum of a high school diploma (or equivalent) and at least one year of experience in both drop and count is preferred. Alternatively, a blend of education and relevant experience will do the trick!
- Ability to handle a large amount of money.
- Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Basic Computer skills.
- Must complete all required training and safety objectives.
- Willing and able to be on call or work high volume days/holidays.
- Has completed some leadership training.
- Exhibits leadership qualities on one or more of the teams.
- Ability to obtain and maintain licensing by the appropriate gaming authority.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work seamlessly with a team.
- Be prepared for a vibrant atmosphere with exposure to smoke, noise, and bright lights.
- This role requires the ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Be ready to put your best foot forward with constant standing and walking throughout the shift.
- You'll need a valid driver's license and be willing to help out at other places if necessary.
