Cherokee Casino & Hotel Roland is hiring an Executive Casino Host to be responsible for providing personalized service and building strong relationships with valuable casino guests. This position requires a blend of sales, marketing, and customer service skills to ensure a premium gaming and entertainment experience, while contributing to the achievement of departmental revenue goals.
- Develop and maintain relationships with assigned and targeted high-value guests.
- Monitor reinvestment allocation and effectiveness, ensuring alignment with departmental goals.
- Target appropriate guests and ensure effective follow-up.
- Review player performance and promotional status with management.
- Assist in training player development staff on guest service, rewards programs, and player tracking systems.
- Support the implementation of promotions, special programs, and events.
- Resolve guest disputes and complaints to ensure satisfaction.
- Assist with department scheduling.
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing or a related field.
- 5 years of casino operations or sales experience, or equivalent education and experience.
- Previous experience in a resort setting or sales background preferred.
- Effective written, communication, presentation, and computer skills (Microsoft Office).
- Ability to set priorities, work independently, and manage objectives with limited supervision.
- Knowledge of customer service principles and processes.
- Knowledge of player tracking systems and complimentary offer issuance.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Ability to obtain and maintain required gaming licenses.
- Ability to work in office and casino environments, including exposure to smoke and noise.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Availability to communicate with high-end guests outside of scheduled hours.
- Ability to travel, including overnight stays.
