What are the responsibilities and job description for the On Call / As Needed Cocktail Server position at Cherokee Nation Entertainment?
Cherokee Casino & Hotel Roland is looking for on-call, as-needed Cocktail Servers who are available to work on Saturday evenings to assist with service for shows and VIP events hosted at the property. This role involves taking and delivering orders, ensuring accurate and timely service, and maintaining a professional and friendly demeanor. - Deliver food and alcoholic beverages to guests in a timely and efficient manner.
- Ensure the highest quality of food and beverage service at all times.
- Adhere to all alcohol safety standards, including checking identification and verifying age.
- Provide excellent customer service to both internal and external guests.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including the server station and shared areas.
- Process guest payments accurately and efficiently.
- Previous cocktail server experience required.
- High School Diploma or GED and must be at least 18 years of age.
- Ability to obtain a food handler's card and a state-issued alcoholic beverage license.
- Successful completion of alcohol awareness training.
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic and demanding environment that prioritizes guest satisfaction and teamwork.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Ability to work in a casino environment, which may include exposure to second-hand smoke and crowd noise.
- Ability to work in a variety of settings, including climate-controlled office settings.
- Ability to frequently bend and kneel.
- Ability to lift and carry objects up to 50 pounds.
- Must be available to work at least one shift per month to maintain active employment in this on-call position.
