Cherokee Casino Fort Gibson is seeking a dedicated Surveillance Agent to play a critical role in maintaining the integrity of casino operations and ensuring a safe environment. This position involves continuous monitoring of casino activity, identifying potential violations or security concerns, and collaborating with other departments to investigate and resolve incidents.
- Surveil gaming areas and CNE properties to detect theft, criminal activity, and non-compliance with gaming regulations.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of all relevant federal, state, and tribal gaming regulations, policies, and procedures, including Title 31 (Bank Secrecy Act) rules.
- Identify and document variances from established standards and report them to the supervisor.
- Demonstrate familiarity with controls for all CNE departments and positions.
- Maintain knowledge of surveillance techniques, gaming scams, cheating methods, and related equipment.
- Understand the operation and vulnerabilities of Electronic Gaming Machines and related policies.
- Monitor cash handling and storage areas for loss protection and procedural adherence.
- Monitor casino radio traffic and respond as needed.
- Respond to requests for video reviews, observations, and other information from various departments and agencies.
- Actively monitor game play for procedural adherence and loss protection.
- Maintain proficiency in game play standards, basic strategy, and dealer procedures.
- Recognize cheating and advantage play methods.
- Assist security with video reviews and incident monitoring.
- Collaborate with Loss Prevention, Internal Audit, CNGC, and other departments on investigations.
- Maintain logs of daily activities, video reviews, equipment malfunctions, and other relevant information.
- Operate the computerized report management system for inputting, accessing, updating, and printing reports.
- Maintain proper chain of custody for video evidence and reports.
- Testify or attest to the accuracy of reports and video evidence as required.
- Ensure surveillance equipment is operating correctly and perform regular checks and logs.
- Maintain strict confidentiality and adhere to standards of conduct.
- 12 college credit hours and completion of Composition 1 (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
- 6 months of related work experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
- Proficient written and spoken English.
- Excellent report writing skills.
- Proficient operation of phone systems, office equipment, computers, and basic software (Microsoft Office Suite, etc.).
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Ability to obtain and maintain required gaming licenses.
- Valid driver's license.
- Ability to sit for extended periods with occasional standing and walking.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 10 pounds.
