Cheerokee Nation Home Health Service is a leader in providing high-quality home health services to our patients. As a Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (LPTA), you will play a vital role in delivering physical therapy services to patients in their place of residence.
About the Role:
In this position, you will work under the direction and supervision of a Registered Physical Therapist (PT) to provide physical therapy services to patients. Your primary responsibility will be to administer physical therapy treatments as ordered by physicians and outlined in patient care plans.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer physical therapy treatments to patients in their place of residence
- Work under the direction and supervision of a Registered Physical Therapist (PT)
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans
- Conduct home visits to assess patient needs and provide treatment
Requirements:
- Graduate from a two-year college level program approved by the American Physical Therapy Association
- Currently licensed in the state(s) in which practicing
- Two years of experience preferred
- Ability to exercise initiative and independent judgment
