Job Summary :
Assists civil engineers to plan and design constructions.
Job Duties :
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Calculates dimensions and draws detailed dimensional design layouts for projects.
Reviews project blueprints and structural specifications to determine dimensions.
Prepares reports and records project data.
Develops plans and estimates cost for construction projects.
LEVEL OF RESPONSIBILITY
Performs work under direct supervision.
Handles basic issues and problems, and refers more complex issues to higher-level staff.
Qualifications : QUALIFICATIONS
Possesses beginning to working knowledge of subject matter.
Bachelor's degree from a 4-year college or university; or an equivalent combination of education and / or experience.
At least three (3) years of experience in a related field.
COMPETENCIES
Ability to work as part of a team.
Oral and written communication skills.
Design expertise.
Computer skills.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
