We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Clinical Dietitian to join our healthcare team. Duties
- Assess patients' nutritional needs and develop comprehensive care plans tailored to individual health conditions.
- Provide guidance on tube feeding protocols and monitor patients receiving enteral nutrition.
- Collaborate with the dietary department to ensure the delivery of appropriate meals and snacks based on patient requirements.
- Supervise dietary staff and provide training on nutrition-related topics, ensuring adherence to best practices.
- Conduct health coaching sessions aimed at weight loss and overall wellness for patients.
- Work with geriatric populations, addressing their unique nutritional needs within an acute care environment.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient assessments, care plans, and progress notes in compliance with hospital policies.
Experience
- A degree in Dietetics or Nutrition from an accredited institution is required.
- Previous experience working in a hospital setting or acute care environment is preferred.
- Familiarity with dietary systems, tube feeding management, and care plan development is essential.
- Experience supervising staff or leading teams within a dietary department is advantageous.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals are critical for success in this role.
