Primary Purpose
Prepare, prime and paint various surfaces to maintain standards of all interior and exterior surfaces. Continuously inspect and repair all deficiencies.

Principal Duties And Responsibilities
Work includes lifting and adjusting heavy objects and potential contact with sharp, hot, and/or very cold supplies and equipment. Work may require scaling ladders and operating lifts. Employee will be required to wear proper personal protective equipment and maintain safety procedures at all times. Employee may be called into work outside of normal work hours or work long hours for emergency maintenance and repair situations.
This position may require strenuous physical activities and exposure to pipe, cigar, and/or cigarette smoking. An ability to work a flexible schedule, including extended hours, weekends, and holidays may also be required.

Principal Duties And Responsibilities
- Performs preventive maintenance of wallcoverings and appurtenances.
- Assists with various building renovations in addition to removing existing walls and
- reframing.
- Inspects, patches and repairs damaged walls.
- Performs all types of painting projects such as refinishing wood trim, painting doors,
- etc.
- Selects and applies compatible paint based on substrate.
- Assist in developing the scope of painting projects to be outsourced.
- Oversees the quality of work of painting contractors.
- Provides services for basic building maintenance activities.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 3 years of experience in drywall, painting or related maintenance trades, or an equivalent combination of education and experience, including trade school training.
- Work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Ability to work early and/or work late and/or work weekends based on other departmental schedules.
- Knowledge of electrical Lock Out/Tag Out and Personal Protective Equipment usage.
- Knowledge in the use and care of tools, including cordless and corded power tools.
