Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils.
- Interact with customers in a friendly manner, taking orders and providing recommendations based on their preferences.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments through the POS system.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including proper food handling practices.
- Assist in catering events as needed, providing excellent service to guests.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food and beverages.
- Stay updated on industry trends, cocktail recipes, and menu offerings.
Skills
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage effectively with guests.
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and transaction processing.
- Knowledge of food handling safety standards is essential.
- Previous experience in the food industry or catering is a plus but not required.
