We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapist to join our team at Cherrelyn Healthcare Center, a 176-bed skilled nursing facility in Littleton, CO. As a valued member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in helping our patients achieve their goals and regain their physical strength and mobility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing rehabilitative services to patients under your care
- Helping patients with exercises and activities to improve strength, balance, and mobility
- Observing and documenting patients' progress
- Instructing patients and family members on proper techniques for exercises and equipment use
- Communicating with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care
- Maintaining clean and organized treatment areas
- Adhering to all healthcare and safety standards
- Participating in regular training and educational opportunities to enhance job knowledge and skills
Requirements:
- Associate's degree in Physical Therapy program
- State licensure as a Physical Therapist
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Physical Therapist preferred
- Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Knowledge of physical therapy techniques, principles, and practices
- Physical stamina to assist patients with mobility and perform repetitive tasks
- Ability to lift and move equipment and assist patients with physical activities
