What your day looks like :

Research and facilitate resolutions on complex audit and accounting issues.

Create templates and resources to support the firm’s audit methodology, including standardization and implementation of new standards.

Communicate between audit teams and audit leadership to ensure firm and engagement objectives are met by all parties.

Oversee firm objectives and professional practices projects, and manage firm resources to ensure that established goals are met.

Participate in the quality monitoring process, including supporting both internal and external inspections.

Assist in the process of integrating acquired firms into the firm’s audit processes and methodology.

Provide guidance and experience to other audit teams to ensure that engagement risks are identified, appropriate responses (including specific audit steps) are taken, and that firm policies are adhered to.

Begin to develop one or more areas of technical specialization, and begin to serve as a technical consultant, both internally and externally.

Develop outside relationships (professional, personal, etc.) with a goal to foster long-term business development opportunities.

What you need for this role :

Excellent project management, analytical, interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.

Deep understanding of both audit and accounting standards.

5 years’ experience in public accounting.

Bachelor's degree in accounting.

Must be CPA certified and have an active CPA license.

The salary range for this position is $82,365 to $148,300.
