Purpose of the Role
The Maintenance Division Sales Representative is responsible for driving sales for Maintenance Projects, ensuring they achieve the targeted profit margins. This involves prospecting for new clients, following up on leads generated both internally and through marketing efforts, crafting and presenting proposals, closing sales deals, and coordinating job handoffs with Project Managers. The role requires leading by example, upholding our core values, and working closely with the Division Manager to elevate the Maintenance Division to Cherry Coating’s standards.

Sales Responsibilities:
- Identifying and reaching out to potential clients through various channels such as networking events, cold calling, and online research
- Developing and maintaining relationships with new and existing clients to foster long-term business partnerships
- Working closely with the sales and marketing teams to align strategies and ensure a seamless transition of leads
- Staying informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions to identify new opportunities
- Survey/takeoff projects to familiarize and game plan attack as well as determine the scope of work
- Specify preparation and coating systems to recommended, offering options where appropriate
- Prepare Site Visit Reports from photos taken at site visit to describe inclusions and exclusions
- Prepare a written proposal that includes all information that will aid in client’s decision-making process
- Present package including PowerPoint, proposal, product data and any other relevant items
- Conducting face-to-face presentations on high-priority or very desirable projects; smaller, less desirable jobs may be handled via email
- Closing deals by obtaining a signature to proceed, contract or PO
- At completion, walking the project with project lead and foreman to ensure work is complete, acceptable and meets the client’s expectations
- Addressing all client inquiries and resolving any issues promptly to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction
- Keeping detailed records of sales activities, client interactions, and progress towards sales goals
- Putting together Maintenance Agreements, for presentation, to all New Construction clients with recently completed projects
Management Responsibilities:
- Coordinate with Maintenance Operations for timeline of contracted projects
- Assist with Project Managers project orientation and customer expectations
- Review job sheets with Division Manager monthly to ensure projects meet expectations
