Duties
- Supervise and coordinate activities of team members during shifts to ensure smooth operations.
- Assist in training new employees and provide ongoing support to existing staff.
- Monitor food quality and presentation to uphold restaurant standards.
- Manage inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
- Handle customer inquiries and complaints with professionalism and efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the establishment.
- Collaborate with management on budgeting and financial planning for the shift.
- Facilitate communication between front-of-house and back-of-house teams to enhance service delivery.
Skills
- Proven experience in a supervisory role within the hospitality or food service industry, particularly in hotel or restaurant settings.
- Strong knowledge of food service management principles, including kitchen management and banquet operations.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and lead a diverse team.
