SUPERVISOR: Director of Career and Innovation

SUMMARY: The members of the Elementary Project Support Team (EPST) report directly to the Director of Career and Innovation and provide instructional support to elementary school students and staff, including co-teaching, project planning, and staff professional development.

- Provides support with classroom projects as they relate to STEM and Innovation. (Daily 40%)
- Assist classroom teachers with projects through planning, co-teaching, and providing materials for STEM and Innovation projects. (Daily 20%)
- Collaborate with other departments to provide the needed support to elementary school teachers. (Daily 15%)
- Serve on the steering committee for district-wide events. (Monthly 10%)
- Present at meetings and staff development opportunities. (Monthly 5%)
- Attend and participate in school and district-wide events which may take place evenings or weekends. (Monthly 5%)
- Perform other duties as assigned or requested. (Daily 5%)
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Technology assistance/support experience
- Strong interpersonal relations skills.
- Presentation skills in a variety of settings.
- Ability to assume leadership in the development and implementation of STEM-related projects and events.
- Ability and willingness to work as a team member.
- Ability to work alone and with others.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Organizational skills.
- Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
- Proficient knowledge of Google products.
- Criminal background check and fingerprinting required for hire.

- Experience working with school-aged children.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in educational experience.
- Classroom experience or licensed teaching experience
- Ability to work with adults in a team setting.

- Organizational skills.
- Advanced knowledge in technology.
- Knowledge and experience with operating systems.
- Experience working directly with people from diverse racial, ethnic, and socioeconomic backgrounds.
