SUPERVISOR:
Manager or designee.
SUMMARY:
Work alone, or with other crewmembers, on all facets of general maintenance; operates various types of machinery; work may be assigned in accordance to crewmembers strongest work background.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Responsible for completion of general maintenance work orders in assigned areas. [Daily, 50%]
• Repairs worn or damaged parts on machines, desks, doors and various types of equipment; repairs fences, backstops, tie walls and signs as directed, and performs various maintenance repairs (i.e. hang whiteboards and dispensers; repair/replace ramps, railing, trim, etc., on mobiles; partition repair/replacement, drywall and ceiling repairs, etc., HVAC, plumbing and electrical). [Daily, 25%]
• Maintains District vehicle, tools, equipment and stock of supplies. [Daily, 5%]
• Maintains daily documentation on work order system. [Daily, 2%]
• Maintains backhoe, concrete saw, concrete mixer, core drill and air compressor. [Daily, 1%]
• Assists in snow removal duties as established. [Monthly, 5%]
• Shares in on-call duties for department. [Monthly, 5%]
• Operates core drill and concrete saw for concrete asphalt as well as forms, pours, and finishes concrete. [Quarterly, 2%]
• Performs other related duties as assigned or requested. [Daily, 5%]
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Two (2) years of Building Engineer, Building Manager, or general maintenance experience.
• Must meet insurability requirements of the Colorado School District Self Insurance Pool.
• Must be able to work flexible hours and/or shifts which may vary.
• Criminal background check and fingerprinting required for hire.
REQUIRED CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, AND REGISTRATIONS:
All certifications, licenses, and registrations must be valid and unexpired.
• Valid Colorado driver’s license.
• Class A commercial driver’s license or obtain within six (6) months of employment.

PHYSICAL AND MENTAL DEMANDS/WORK ENVIRONMENT:
• Good motor skills - hand tools and machinery are used daily.
• Extremely heavy lifting of up to fifty (50) lbs. (Daily moving of equipment, furniture and materials).

• Climb stairs, ladders and vehicles.
• Squatting.
• Overhead work.
• Work at various heights.
