JOB SUMMARY : Active supervision of students in the school-based child care program under the guidance of a qualified leader, assistant director or director. Develops and promotes good community relations among various community and school clientele.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES : The following tasks describe the basic functions of the job and represent the type of work performed. They do not constitute an exhaustive list of the duties and responsibilities performed on the job. - Completes all tasks assigned by director, assistant director, or leader.
- Follow procedures as stated in the ECS Procedures Manual.
- Participates and plays with students in structured and unstructured activities.
- Maintains safe conditions for students and staff.
- Follows and enforces program discipline policies and procedures.
- Assists with maintenance, proper storage, and repair of equipment, materials and supplies.
- Contributes ideas for enrichment activities, curriculum, and program quality.
- Demonstrates excellent communication with parents, students, school staff and coworkers.
- Follows district policies and goals and uses district facilities with care.
- Perform other related duties as assigned or requested.
