Job Description

Cherry Grove Animal Hospital is looking for a Veterinary Hospital Manager to join our thriving team! We are seeking servant leaders with proven success in people management, who share our growth mindset and drive to foster outstanding team culture. Success in this role will be defined by building strong relationships with our team and clients, including maintaining team unity and providing mentorship.

As Hospital Manager, you will partner with our Medical Director, collaborate with our doctors, and guide our support team. While this position is focused on people leadership and administrative responsibilities, the Hospital Manager should maintain a pulse on the day-to-day activities of the hospital and be ready to assist the team as the need arises.

Benefits and compensation :

Compensation package : $25-27 / hour (based on experience)
Quarterly bonus potential
2,000 hiring bonus package for LVTs and CVPMs
CE allowance : $1,000 annual allocation for LVTs and CVPMs

Qualifications :

3 years of veterinary practice management required . CVPM a plus!

Proven success in delivering employee evaluations, developing training programs, mediating conflict, and de-escalating clients in emotionally charged situations

Experience managing the development and growth of teams

Demonstrates high emotional intelligence and strong conflict management skills

Excellent interpersonal, listening, written and verbal communication skills

Financial acumen and experience managing budgets such as revenue and payroll (preferred)

Self-directed and able to work independently, as well as collaboratively within a team

Responsibilities include :

Performance management and team mentorship

Foster team growth and partnership

Overseeing training and development

Payroll, inventory and budget management

Complaint resolution

Ensuring that safety protocols are followed

Monitoring hospital flow

Client communication and education

Attention to detail and awareness of surroundings, noticing areas of need within the practice

Marketing and demand generation
