Kitchen Crew Member (Weekends)

Cherry Gulch is hiring a part-time weekend kitchen crew member. We are looking for professional, compassionate people who can effectively work with our 10—to 14-year-old male student population.

Cherry Gulch is a small, privately owned therapeutic residential treatment program designed specifically for 9—to 16-year-old boys. We aim to provide early intervention and prevention to help these boys reach their full potential and become well-rounded, pro-social young men.

We are currently hiring for a part-time position, 24 hours per week.

The candidate must be able to work Saturday and Sunday from 6 am to 6 pm.

Qualifications:
-Must be over 18 years of age
-Must have a High School Diploma or GED
-Must be able to be on feet for a full shift
-Must have a clean Criminal History

Responsibilities:

· Responsible for executing all kitchen duties during their shift. This includes food preparation, cooking, and safe sanitary operations that comply with the law and health standards.

· Works collaboratively with other staff members to ensure an efficient structure.

· Assists in maintaining and cleaning all kitchen equipment.

· Communicate professionally with parents, clients, vendors, visitors, and employees.

· Follow a scheduled and rotating menu

· Maintains food quality standards.

· Ensures that the mission and philosophy of Cherry Gulch are clearly communicated and reflected within kitchen operations.

· Maintains/creates and models clear and appropriate adult-child boundaries and relationships according to school policy

· Other related tasks and duties as assigned

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $14.00 - $17.00 per hour
