Cherry Gulch is a nationally renowned therapeutic residential treatment program for boys. Located in the foothills of Emmett, ID, overlooking the beautiful Black Canyon Reservoir and Payette River. Our campus has provided innovative and cutting-edge services to young boys and families from all over the world. Weekday Hours: 2:15 pm – 10:15 pm
Weekend Hours: 7:15 am - 10:15 pm

Evening Youth Mentor
Duties:
- Educate and mentor youth in various areas of their lives
- Provide guidance and support to help youth overcome challenges and develop positive behaviors
- Assist with conflict management and resolution among youth
- Collaborate with other professionals to develop and implement individualized plans for youth
- Monitor and evaluate the progress of youth in achieving their goals
- Create a safe and supportive environment for youth to express themselves
- Plan and facilitate group activities and workshops for youth development
Requirements:
- Experience working with children, preferably in a mentoring or educational role
- Knowledge of special education, child welfare, behavioral health, or related fields is a plus
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage with youth
- Ability to establish boundaries and maintain confidentiality
- Patience, empathy, and understanding when working with diverse populations of youth
- Flexibility to adapt to the changing needs of the youth and program
- Ability to pass a background check and meet any other requirements set by the organization
