The Privileging and Credentialing Coordinator is responsible for providing administrative support to the ongoing privileging and credentialing process. This is a full-time, benefit-eligible position typically working Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm.

Requirements:

High School Diploma or GED required

Previous experience in privileging and credentialing in an FQHC environment or primary healthcare setting required; or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job listed above.
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively both orally and in writing.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, including MS Word and Excel
- Knowledge of office management systems and procedures, including physical and electronic filing systems
- Ability to maintain confidentiality, credibility, and use professional discretion.
- Ability to collaborate with other agency departments, as needed
Responsibilities:
- Create and maintain privileging and credentialing files, audit regularly for complete documentation requirements for new employees and monthly for upcoming expiration dates.
- Coordinate with providers and supervisors for completed privileging and credentialing forms for new employees and existing providers, update the required documentation as they come up for renewal.
- Manage the privileging inbox for email communications related to privileging.
- Scan/upload the documents for digital management.
- Assist with audits for documentation requests.
- Manage and maintain digital management of files
- Track and maintain peer reviews.
- Streamline, track and maintain student rotation requests across medical specialties, coordinate with appropriate agency departments for student onboarding
- Track and maintain student evaluations and surveys.
- Upload and update appropriate documents into CAQH and payer portals.
- Assist providers to maintain CAQH attestation requirements.
- Other duties as assigned.
