Clinical Nurse (RN) Med Surg/ Full-Time

POSITION SUMMARY: The Registered Nurse coordinates and implements patient care tailored to the specific age group of the assigned units, ensuring quality and safe care aligned with unit standards. Demonstrates effective work habits and treats all individuals with respect.

Minimum Qualifications

• EDUCATION: Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• CERTIFICATION/LICENSES: Current New Mexico RN license or Compact state license; BLS Certification required within 2 weeks of hire.
• SKILLS: Knowledge of patient rights, clear communication appropriate to patient age.
  
  

ENVIRONMENT: Exposure to infectious diseases; works in a clean, ventilated environment with varied hours.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Ability to handle emergencies, extensive standing/walking, and physical effort to assist patients.
