Cherry Hill Nursing & Rehab is seeking a Certified Dietary Manager / Food Service Director to lead our food service team at our skilled nursing facility in Westland, MI. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated professional with leadership experience in dietary services, particularly in a long-term care setting.
Position Details:Hourly Rate: $30/hour
Employment Type: Full-Time
Schedule: 40 hours per week
Oversee daily operations of the dietary department.
Manage food service staff, including scheduling, hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
Ensure meals are prepared according to planned menus, standardized recipes, and special dietary needs.
Monitor compliance with all food safety, sanitation, and regulatory standards.
Review resident care plans to ensure dietary needs are met.
Provide nutrition counseling in collaboration with a registered dietitian.
Work closely with the interdisciplinary team to maintain smooth facility operations.
Address and resolve any dietary concerns in a timely manner.
Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) certification required.
Previous experience in long-term care is preferred.
Prior management experience in food service is desirable.
Strong leadership and organizational skills.
Knowledge of therapeutic diets and nutritional guidelines.
