We are looking for a reliable and customer-oriented Cashier/Stocker to join our team. In this dual role, you will assist customers at the register, handle transactions accurately, and ensure shelves are stocked, organized, and clean. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced retail setting. You will be an important part of creating a positive shopping experience for every customer.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Cashier:
- Greet customers with a friendly and professional attitude
- Operate cash register and handle transactions accurately
- Process payments via cash, credit/debit cards, and other methods
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area
As a Stocker:
- Receive, unpack, and stock merchandise on shelves
- Ensure products are fronted, labeled, and priced correctly
- Rotate stock and remove expired or damaged items
- Assist in inventory counts and restocking as needed
- Keep aisles clean and ensure displays are tidy and appealing
Qualifications:
- Basic math and computer skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Requirements:
- A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn new skills related to sales and customer service.
Schedule:
- Flexible hours, including Saturdays and holidays as needed. We are closed on Sundays.
