As the Payroll Administrator, you’ll help create the magic behind the scenes as a part of our Finance division. We are looking for an organized professional to assist in all activities required to ensure payrolls are processed in a timely manner. Our Payroll Administrator Will Also
- Perform daily processing/review of payroll related activities for various payroll groups in UKG Pro
- Administer bi-weekly and weekly (seasonal) payrolls for hourly and salary employees
- Process multi-state payroll(s) that include pay adjustments, benefit deductions, incentive payments, garnishments, and taxes
- Calculate final pay for terminations and beginning pay for new hires
- Provide payroll information by answering questions and requests by phone, email or in person
- Resolve payroll and related issues in a professional and expedient manner
- Maintain accurate records and prepare reports
- Assist in payroll related audits as needed
- Collaborate with Field Personnel, Field Operations and Accounting teams
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws and internal policies
- Maintain strict confidentiality and professionalism with sensitive information
- Other duties as assigned

Knowledge, Experience & Skill
- High school diploma; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred
- Proficient with UKG or equivalent payroll system, with at least 3 years of actual experience
- Well versed in Time & Attendance systems
- Understanding of Canadian payroll processing is preferred
- Current knowledge of payroll procedures and related laws for salary, hourly employees
- Excellent understanding of multi-location payroll and taxes
- Proficient with Microsoft Office applications and a readiness to learn internal software and systems
