What are the responsibilities and job description for the K5 French Immersion Assistant position at Cherry Park Elementary School of Language Immersion?
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma required; college background preferred
Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
Experience working with early childhood school students preferred
Knowledge and ability to communicate in a second language, preferably French
Cooperative, able to work with supervising teachers and other staff members
Skill in interpersonal relations with pupils, parents, teachers, staff and the general public
Outstanding references from current and former supervisors
Satisfactory SLED (SC Law Enforcement Division) report
Salary Range: Support 4
Length of Contract: 185 days/7 hours per day
Starting Date: Immediately Upon Selection
