Summary of Position:
The Cherry Republic Business Gifts Manager oversees the operational success of the business gifting program in our corporate sales channel. The candidate filling this role reports to the VP of Marketing to ensure the highest level of service for our Business Gifts customers. This candidate also works collaboratively with Direct Sales Team to convey a cohesive sales and marketing experience.
Essential Duties:
- Coordinating business gifting sales and marketing efforts to engage our customers and acquire new customers to grow the department.
- Managing people and day-to-day operational activities and providing exceptional service to our internal and external customers.
- Work on various marketing projects to create continuous improvements in the corporate channel.
- Guarantee our corporate customers have a great experience every time.
- Manage the end-to-end order process from quotes through order fulfillment and delivery.
- Responsible for the effectiveness of Business Gifts Ambassadors Training.
- Manage lead generation and responsive follow-ups in line with service standards.
- Collect, interpret, and communicate customer data for strategic planning.
- Maintenance of budget in accordance with sales and projections.
- Have the flexibility to work with the Service Center, fulfillment, and Direct Sales team as needed to fulfill business gifts needs.
- Flexibility to support and collaborate with all departments during peak holiday periods
- Active participation in local business organizations, including Chambers of Commerce and similar networking groups
- Proficiency in using LinkedIn for marketing and business development
Necessary Skills:
- Ability to stay organized and prioritize tasks.
- Successful experience leading sales teams during high-volume holiday seasons; and with establishing a sales growth plan.
- Experience using technical software / CRM systems/ ERP systems.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability to convey daily and weekly expectations of staff and management.
- Act as a change agent with the ability to drive quality and efficient processes.
- Ability to lead, coach, and address employee issues with constructive feedback.
- Technical Savvy. Proficient use of computers and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Superior degree of professionalism with the ability to handle confidential information in a compliant environment.
- Open to receiving constructive feedback and commitment to positive change.
- Goal Oriented with the ability to break down these goals into clear action steps that are communicated to staff and managers.
- Ability and flexibility to travel periodically to meet our customers in person to build relationships and increase sales.

- Education and/or Experience- Bachelor’s degree with at least 2-4 years of proven inside sales or management leadership experience.
- Language Skills- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret data with excellent written and verbal skills.
- Mathematical Skills- Ability to calculate numbers and recognize patterns when analyzing data.
- Reasoning Ability- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to communicate issues accurately and thoroughly to all individuals involved.
- Physical Requirements: This position requires long periods of time sitting in a stationary position roughly 50% during any given day. Occasional moving about the work area (accessing office equipment or attending meetings) is required.
- Computer Skills - A comprehensive understanding of Microsoft Office is required to be successful in this position.
- Availability – Monday through Friday, 9:00 am EST to 5:00 pm EST during the non-holiday season (January through August). Night and weekend availability may be required during the holiday season (September through December).
