Cabinetry Install & Service Technician
Position Summary : A confidential organization is seeking a skilled and reliable Cabinetry Install & Service Technician. This role involves installing and servicing cabinets ensuring highquality standards and client satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in millwork carpentry and production with the ability to work effectively in a team environment and adhere to LEAN manufacturing principles.
Position Requirements :
Education and Experience :
Minimum of 1 year experience in millwork carpentry and production.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Skills and Attributes :
Proficiency with handheld power tools fabricating machines and power equipment.
Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
Ability to read and interpret shop drawings and plans.
Mechanical aptitude with good math skills for measurements.
Experience with basic woodworking tools and materials.
Ability to lift and carry up to 75 pounds regularly.
Strong handeye coordination and fine motor skills.
Team player with excellent communication skills.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
Load transport and unload materials for cabinet installations.
Read and interpret cabinet drawings and specifications.
Install cabinets using pneumatic and electrical tools ensuring quality and adherence to specifications.
Perform cabinet installation tasks including puttying sanding and scribing to precise tolerances.
Address any installation issues or damaged products maintaining high standards.
Perform maintenance and minor repairs on tools and machinery.
Clean up job sites and ensure safe operation of tools and equipment.
Continuously evaluate job processes for improvements in safety and efficiency.
Assemble cabinets attach parts and operate machines like table saws miter saws routers sanders and nail guns.
Conduct regular inspections and routine maintenance of tools and equipment.
Working Conditions :
Work at various job sites including shops and residential homes under construction.
Exposure to moving mechanical parts fluctuating temperatures fumes chemicals and loud noise.
Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions and around heavy equipment.
Additional Requirements :
Willingness to submit to preemployment background checks medical reviews and drug and alcohol screenings.
Ability to read write and communicate in English.
Reliable transportation and communication means.
