We are a growing and dynamic company with two distinct business divisions : Chery Forklift, specializing in the sales and rental of heavy equipment and tools, and Chery Industrial, offering a wide range of industrial products.
We are actively seeking a Local Driver who will be responsible for the safe and timely transport of goods and materials. The successful candidate will make local deliveries. As well as perform warehouse duties when there are no deliveries to be shipped. We are looking for a dedicated team player with a focus on safety and organization.
Responsibilities :
- Operate vehicles such as trucks and vans in compliance with local, state, and federal transportation laws.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and functionality.
- Load, unload, and secure cargo as required.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, schedules, and documentation.
- Follow planned routes and schedules, adapting to traffic and weather conditions.
- Provide excellent customer service during pickups and deliveries.
- Comply with all company policies and safety regulations.
- Communicate effectively with management and report any delays, accidents, or issues.
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness and perform routine maintenance checks.
- Perform warehouse duties as assigned, including but not limited to operating a forklift.
