We are currently looking for an Assistant Store Sales Manager to join our team at the Easton Town Center! The Associate Store Sales Manager is accountable to participate in all activities required to attain store plan including sales generation, customer service, human resource management, merchandise presentation and loss control program success.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Sales Plan
- Successfully drives sales plan weekly and monthly and annually to achieve the store's profit plan through effective sales generation (personal sales, unit, and store plan), customer service, merchandise presentation, inventory and expense control, and loss prevention.
- Participate in the budget development process and work to establish, implement, and maintain guidelines at the store level.
Customer Service
- Consistently provide exceptional customer service to every customer.
- Quickly and effectively resolve any customer service issue or complaint in a mutually acceptable manner.
- Ensure follow-up on any outstanding customer service issues.
Staff Development
- Assist in the development of a strong staff through recruitment, selection, training, development and motivation.
- Maintain and manage a positive and productive work environment.
- Implement human resource programs and assist with conducting timely exempt and non-exempt performance appraisals.
Merchandising
- Ensure the store's adherence to merchandise standards and maximize sales per square foot by interpreting visual objectives.
- Follow Cheryl's Cookies Got to Market
- Effectively maintain stock ordering. Rotate freezer products and supplies.
Communications
- Maintain good communication within store by participating in and assisting with planning of store meeting and training sessions.
- Read and review all memos, e-mails, and training materials on product knowledge and store operations.
- Use communications binder for positive communications with staff and management.
Lost Control Programs
- Uphold all waste, damage and donation guidelines.
- Follow-through with all deadlines and financial informational reports.
- Research register issues, complete banking and communicate errors to department heads.
