The primary responsibility of this role is to operate forklift, pallet jack, and lift truck to transport materials and products to designated areas within the warehouse or production facility. Safely load and unload trucks and containers using forklift. Perform order picking and ensure accurate inventory counts. Forklift experience required.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and lift trucks to move materials and products
- Safely load and unload trucks and containers using forklifts
- Perform order picking and ensure accurate inventory counts
- Transport materials to designated areas within the warehouse or production facility
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow all safety protocols and OSHA guidelines
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
- Previous experience operating forklifts, pallet jacks, or lift truck
- Mechanical knowledge to perform basic maintenance and troubleshooting on equipment
- Ability to read and interpret work orders and shipping/receiving documents
- Proficient in basic math skills for inventory tracking and order picking
- Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in product handling
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as required
- Familiarity with shipping and receiving processes
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs. on a consistent basis
- Able to work in heights as assigned
- Able to successfully complete pre-employment screening
