Summary: Performs a variety of duties around the servicing of Residential Mortgage loans, FHLMC and bank portfolio loans.
Responsibilities
Essential Functions, Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for onboarding all mortgage loans to core, maintenance of loans, and disbursements
- Processing the payoffs on all residential real estate mortgages
- Handles Quality Control review of all loans
- Monitor and update WSJ Rates and National Average Contract Rate
- Handling / Monitoring the below FHLMC (Freddie Mac) items:
- Locking & extending of rates for FHLMC loans on the selling system
- FHLMC funding
- Delivery of loan note to Bank of New York Mellon and requesting releases of notes on paid off loans
- Reporting of payoffs on FHLMC loans
- Daily balancing of FHLMC accounts
- Handle daily/monthly reporting and remittance to FHLMC
- Track FHLMC delinquencies and reporting to loan officers and FHLMC
- Review of FHLMC daily reports
- Responsible for all invoice payment related to FHLMC loans that require reimbursement via FHLMC Reimbursement System
- Review and work Freddie Mac edits
- Liaison on breach letters and foreclosures of FHLMC loans
- Exporting HMDA eligible loans to Compliance Relief
- Handling E-Oscar correction and disputes
- Reviews Bank Adjustable Loan notices to verify for accuracy
- Answer telephone and written inquiries concerning all mortgage loans
- Perform a variety of clerical duties requiring knowledge of departmental procedures
- Staying updated on changes to mortgage servicing standards and regulations
- Provide assistance to loan officers as needed
- Maintain strict confidentiality in processing customer’s files
- Effective organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills
- Ability to navigate multiple computer systems, applications and software
- Taking ownership of career development through training opportunities
- Understand your role as defined by the three lines of defense to maintain a compliance culture that includes risk management processes
- Other duties as assigned by Supervisor
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Three years of previous banking experience
- Full time hours required
- Ability to pay close attention to detail, good organizational skills, follow written and oral instructions
- Ability to navigate multiple computer systems, applications and software
- Flexibility to learn and grow as new systems, technology or processes emerge
