We are seeking a friendly, attentive, and customer-focused Server to join our team at Knoxies' Table. The ideal candidate will provide excellent service to guests by taking orders, delivering food and beverages, and ensuring a memorable dining experience. Responsibilities
- Welcome guests personally within 30 seconds.
- Communicate with guests using clear and enthusiastic words, tone and body language.
- Make guests feel appreciated through Bartender's actions.
- Work as a team with all employees to maintain an effective atmosphere and an efficient food and beverage service.
- Have complete knowledge of CBBC food and beverage preparation.
- Mix, garnish and serve alcoholic and nonalcoholic drinks to patrons of bar and dining room by following standard recipes, maintaining consistency with house recipes.
- Anticipate guests needs.
- Able to interact with guests in a friendly/ time efficient manner.
- Arrange bottles and glasses to maintain an attractive display in agreement with company standards.
- Be attentive to the guest's alcohol consumption to ensure they are not over severed.
- Maintain specific side-work and ensure total cleanliness.
- Ability to clear and set tables.
- Check identification of guests to ensure are of legal age to consume alcohol.
- Refuse to serve alcohol in a polite manner to those that are not of legal age or do not produce adequate identification.
- When serving alcohol always monitor and observe guest's behavior and following TIPS guidelines. Do not hesitate to ask manager to intervene.
- All guests must be treated in a manner to ensure their complete satisfaction. Always strive to exceed guests' expectations.
- Report to work in a neat and clean uniform. Well-groomed hair and personal hygiene are essential.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirement
- Must be able to obtain TIPS Certification.

Work Environment
This position operates in a Restaurant/Bar/Banquet Setting. The noise level in the work environment can be loud. The employees may be exposed to hazards including but not limited to; cuts, slipping, tripping, fails and burns. Frequent hand washing is required.
Physical Demands
- Walk and stand during the entire shift
- Continuously reach, bend, lift, carry, stoop, and wipe.
- Remain stationary for long periods of time.
- Be able to lift up to 35lbs.
- Be able to manipulate fingers, hands, and arms to cut, measure, pour, serve, carry and wipe.
- Be able to hear and talk.
- Good close and distant vision and ability to adjust focus between the two.
