Job Overview
We are seeking passionate and dedicated preschool teachers AND teacher aids to join our educational team. The ideal candidates will have a strong commitment to fostering a positive learning environment for young children, focusing on their social, emotional, and cognitive development. This role involves creating engaging lesson plans, implementing curriculum development strategies, and ensuring the overall welfare of the children in your care.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote learning through play and exploration.
- Foster a nurturing and safe environment that encourages children's curiosity and creativity.
- Communicate effectively with children, parents, and staff to support child welfare and development.
- Assess children's progress and adapt teaching methods to meet individual needs, including early intervention strategies when necessary.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance curriculum development and share best practices in teaching methodologies.
- Provide care for toddlers, ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met throughout the day.
- Facilitate activities that promote basic skills in areas such as Math, literacy, and social interaction.
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment conducive to learning.
Requirements
- Proven experience working with students in an educational setting, preferably in early childhood education.
- Strong skills in tutoring, lesson planning, and curriculum development tailored for preschool-aged children.
- Knowledge of child welfare practices and early intervention techniques is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, and fellow educators.
- A genuine passion for educating young learners and fostering their growth in a supportive environment.
- Relevant certifications or degrees in Early Childhood Education or related fields are preferred but not mandatory.
- Previous experience is mandatory.
