Chesapeake Containment Systems, Inc. is seeking a Facility Laborer to work at our facility in Statesville, NC.
Job Description
This position requires working on average 50 hours per week, Monday through Friday, with plenty of overtime available and sometimes required.
To be eligible for this role, candidates must pass a background and drug test.
Responsibilities
- Perform general shop, facility maintenance, and landscaping tasks, including mowing grass, mulching, replacing HVAC filters, replacing lights, and small repairs.
- Prepare shipments, load, and unload delivery trucks.
- Maintain the cleanliness of the shop and grounds.
- Perform equipment maintenance on grounds equipment and heavy equipment.
- Operate a forklift and skid steer to move materials around the facility.
- Perform any other duties assigned.
Requirements
- The ability to lift 50 pounds frequently throughout an entire workday.
- Ability to work outdoors in extreme weather conditions.
- Maintenance of safety standards.
- Reliability, punctuality, and teamwork are essential.
