Position Overview: The Junior Project Manager supports senior project managers and teams in planning,
executing, and delivering projects on time, within scope, and budget. This role involves administrative tasks,
communication, and coordination among team members to ensure project milestones are achieved on time
and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in the development of project plans, timelines, and deliverables.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure project alignment.
• Monitor project progress, track milestones, and report on status.
• Identify and mitigate risks and resolve project-related issues as they arise.
• Maintain project documentation, including schedules, meeting notes, and reports.
• Support resource allocation and task prioritization.
• Foster clear communication within the project team and across departments.
• Assist with securing approvals, contract documents, required signatures, and distributing and/or
following up on documents for pre-entered orders and Letters of Intent.
• Visit job sites weekly partnering with technicians and customers and general contractors
• Follow and enforce proper PPE and safety protocol
• Assist with material delivery/ordering
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in relevant field such as Business, Project Management, or equivalent experience
• 1-2 years of experience in project coordination, team support, or related roles.
• Familiarity with project management tools
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.)
• Valid VA Driver’s License.
