Description
Chesapeake Controls is seeking an HVAC Electrical Technician to join our Chesapeake, Virginia Team. This position will work on a team as a commercial low-voltage rough-in installer working on projects in and around Hampton Roads.
Installation of either conduit, wire, or mounting devices - Journeyman a PLUS!
Job Duties include:
- Low Voltage Installation, primarily less than 24 vac / 24 VDC; to a lesser extent 120 VAC for panel power
- Install conduit (all types)
- Pull and terminate wires to controllers, components, and devices using wiring diagrams, and installation instructions
- Install electrical wiring between controls and equipment according to wiring diagram; experience with push up ceilings, hard lid ceilings, fire demising walls, floor to floor
- Understand, and work from floor plans, blueprints, specifications, and schematics
- Train and mentor entry level install technicians
- Work with customers on-site
- Tools and techniques of the trade
- Some travel required
