Who You Will Be

Position Summary:

The Premium Audit Reviewer is responsible for ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and compliance of premium audits performed for policyholders. This position involves reviewing completed audits, verifying classifications, and collaborating with auditors, underwriters, and management to resolve discrepancies. The role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a solid understanding of insurance principles and premium auditing standards.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Audit Review and Analysis

  • Review completed premium audits to verify accuracy and ensure adherence to company guidelines.
  • Cross-check audit findings with policy details and identify any inconsistencies.
  • Assist in resolving discrepancies by collaborating with auditors and policyholders.

Collaboration and Communication

  • Communicate audit findings and recommendations to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Work with team members and other departments to clarify classifications and exposures.
  • Provide support to auditors by ensuring they have accurate and updated information.

Documentation and Reporting

  • Maintain detailed and organized records of audit reviews and communications.
  • Generate summary reports of audit outcomes and adjustments for management.
  • Monitor trends in audit results and escalate issues as needed.

Training and Compliance

  • Participate in training programs to develop a strong understanding of audit processes and standards.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements in all reviews.
  • Complete other duties and special projects assigned by management.

Skills, Education and Experience:

Education

  • Associate’s degree in accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Equivalent work experience in insurance or customer service may be considered.

Experience

  • Entry-level; prior experience in insurance, auditing, or related fields is a plus but not required.
  • Familiarity with data entry, spreadsheets, or other basic office software is preferred.

Skills

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Basic analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Physical Demands:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee may occasionally lift up to 30 pounds. Specific vision abilities are required which include, close vision, peripheral vision and the ability to adjust focus.

Work Environment:

Office Environment. The noise level is usually moderate.

Salary Range: $25.73/hr - $38.59/hr depending on experience

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.73 - $38.59 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
