We are seeking experienced Drillers to join our travel team. The ideal candidate should have an in-depth understanding of geothermal or well drilling operations and drilling techniques. Drillers should be able to work collaboratively with others, be able to lead a small team and possess a strong commitment to safety and quality. Experience with mud and air rotary drills preferred.
What you'll bring:
- 2 years of drilling experience (geothermal or well drilling preferred)
- Understanding of safety protocols and procedures is a must
- Good communication and problem-solving skills
- A positive attitude and good work ethic
- Basic math skills
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
- Reliable transportation to job sites or select meeting points
Travel requirements:
- Travel is required within the East Coast up to 75-100%
- Must be willing to be away from home 5 days a week -- Travel accommodations and per diem benefits are provided.
Physical demands:
- Work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Ability to lift, carry and move up to 50 lbs. of heavy equipment
- Standing and bending for extended periods of time
- Ability to work 10 or more hours per day, between 40-50 hours a week
Compensation:
- The starting pay for this position is $25/ hr and up. Exact rate is dependent on experience, applicable licenses and certifications.
- Per diem and prevailing wage are provided depending on project and site location.
