POSITION SUMMARY
The Pharmacy Delivery Driver is responsible for delivering prescriptions filled at our pharmacy to customer’s home or business. Assure deliveries are made in a timely and courteous manner. They will be responsible for collecting payment from customers. They will be responsible for learning new technology concepts used in the delivery of medications to both patients and facilities. On a daily basis he/she will make sure all deliveries are manually or electronically cleared out via POS and paper copies are filed in appropriate folders. This position reports to the Director of Pharmacy.

PRIMARY TASKS & DUTIES
- Responsible for delivering medications to customers in a timely and courteous manner.
- Responsible for collecting payment from delivery customers, which is then reconciled when returning to pharmacy and scanning signed ticket into pharmacy operating system.
- Keeps accurate mileage logs and takes care of vehicle with utmost care.
- Responsible for collecting payment from delivery customers.

- Must be able to clear out any queues from deliveries made during that day in the POS system.
- Technology ability (iPad) will aid in reconciling any days deliveries through 4G connection and in process clear out queues in operating system.
- Performs all other duties as assigned.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Education
· High School diploma or equivalent. Must be able to speak read, write and understand English.
· Must have a valid driver’s license.
· Computer knowledge is preferred.
