Chesapeake Homes, a residential builder based in Virginia Beach, VA, is offering a Junior Marketing Coordinator position. The Junior Marketing Coordinator assists in executing online marketing efforts for Chesapeake Homes, with an emphasis on organic social media content, online reputation management, and inventory home marketing. This position reports to the Marketing Manager.
Responsibilities:
· Work with the marketing team under the marketing manager to support our online and on-site sales teams.
· Review content across all divisions of corporate website and make updates as needed.
· Update branding content on all company websites, including but not limited to photo galleries, videos, and homeowner testimonials.
· Write marketing descriptions for started inventory homes to be displayed on the website, MLS, and social media channels.
· Upload new model photography and videography.
· Monitor website to ensure it is always functioning properly and conveys accurate information.
· Monitor our rendering platform to confirm accuracy of all plans and options.
· Create and edit marketing collateral for sales and other departments in the company to utilize.
· Coordinate photos and videos on model/completed homes and communities.
· Act as the voice of the brand when responding to user comments and reviews on social media.
· Monitor Google My Business accounts on a monthly basis and make revisions as needed.
· Assist the marketing team with curating content across all social media channels – Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, YouTube, Houzz, Twitter.
· Assist Marketing Coordinator in creating and editing digital content for Facebook, Google, and other syndication sites.
· Assist the Marketing Coordinator in the launching of new communities throughout the company by growing interest lists and completing all necessary marketing collateral.
· Assist Marketing Coordinator with working with plans coordinator to ensure computer renderings of homes are created for all new floorplans as needed through use of an outside platform.
· Assist Marketing Coordinator in auditing daily data feed and monthly feed report for improvements.
· Assist Marketing Coordinator in developing ideas for weekly e-blasts to consumers and real estate agents.
· Assist the Marketing Coordinator with execution of events for company, consumer, and real estate agent events.
· Complete special projects as assigned.
Qualifications:
· Four-year college degree in business, marketing, public relations, communication, or related field of study.
· Strong time management and organizational skills.
· Excellent written and verbal skills.
· Ability to manage multiple complex projects with general direction and minimal supervision.
· Fast learning, hard worker who is able to handle multiple tasks and has a knack for creativity.
· Copywriting skills a plus, but not required.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and working knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator).
· Familiarity in social media channels (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Houzz, Twitter, YouTube
· Ability for occasional travel throughout our four divisions as needed.
