Production Assistant

Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated Manufacturing Assistant to support efficient production operations in a busy manufacturing setting. In this role, you will be responsible for operating various types of equipment, managing material handling, and assisting with routine documentation. Your contribution will help ensure that high-quality products are produced consistently while maintaining a safe and organized work environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Equipment Operation:

  • Operate packaging and filtration equipment, as well as pumps and scales, to support production processes.

  • Use forklifts and drum trucks to transport materials throughout the facility. (No previous forklift experience required; training provided.)

• Material Handling:

  • Accurately label containers for finished products.

  • Handle materials weighing up to 50 pounds, ensuring careful and efficient movement within the production area.

• Administrative Tasks:

  • Complete routine paperwork and maintain accurate records to support production tracking and quality control.

• Physical Work Environment:

  • Engage in activities that include standing, walking, bending, pushing/pulling, and climbing stairs.

  • Enjoy a balanced work-life experience in a role that is physically active without being overly strenuous.

Qualifications

• Education:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent is required.

• Legal Requirements:

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen or have U.S. Permanent Resident Status.

Salary info:

$18 - $19.50 / hr
