Seeking a Rotational Mold Machine Operator for 3rd shift , responsible for overseeing machine operations and ensuring the production of high-quality parts. This role involves machine setup, operation, and minor maintenance , as well as maintaining quality standards and following safety protocols.
Key Responsibilities :
- Program and operate the rotational molding machine, including setup, shutdown, temperature adjustments, filling molds, and cleaning .
- Ensure proper mold preparation, burn time, cooling, and parting line maintenance to produce consistent, high-quality parts.
- Monitor and adjust machine settings based on resin characteristics, curing requirements, and process specifications .
- Read and follow molding process sheets , identifying and correcting errors as needed.
- Conduct first-part inspections and ensure compliance with quality standards and critical dimensions .
- Communicate effectively with coworkers, supervisors, and other shifts to ensure smooth operations.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area , stocking production materials as needed.
- Adhere to safety protocols while handling tools, hoists, and other equipment.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
