What We’re Looking For:

Experienced Applicants Only – If you do not have at least 2 years of professional moving experience, please do not apply!. There will be a skills test conducted during the interview at our warehouse to assess your abilities.

- Experience – At least 2 years of professional moving experience required. CDL is a plus but not required.

- Drivers – Must have a valid driver’s license and experience driving box trucks or larger moving vehicles.

- Reliability – We depend on each other to get the job done. Punctuality and accountability are a must.

- Strong Work Ethic – We only hire individuals who take pride in their work and strive to be the best.

- Physical Fitness – Moving requires strength, stamina, and endurance. Must be able to lift 75 lbs.

- Customer Service Skills – Friendly, professional, and able to handle customers with care and respect.

Job Responsibilities:

- Safely load, transport, and unload household and commercial goods.

- Protect furniture and belongings with proper moving techniques.

- Assemble and disassemble furniture as needed.

- Drive moving trucks (for drivers) and ensure safety compliance on the road.

- Provide outstanding customer service and represent Chesapeake Moving Company with professionalism.
