The Pre-Construction Site Estimator plays a critical role in designing, planning, and estimating infrastructure projects, including buildings, pipelines, water systems, and sewage systems. This individual will deliver accurate estimates, thorough project analyses, and expert recommendations that support successful construction execution.

Responsibilities and Duties
- Perform accurate quantity takeoffs using software tools such as PDF, CAD, and XML files.
- Collaborate with project stakeholders to define engineering requirements for various infrastructure designs, modifications, and repairs.
- Analyze and calculate project elements, including alignments, drainage systems, structures, roadway modeling, and site modeling.
- Review project plans, specifications, and other relevant documents to identify earthwork quantities and required materials.
- Assess the strength and suitability of construction materials, including foundations, concrete, asphalt, and steel, by testing soil and other components.
- Utilize advanced design software and drawing tools to produce precise designs and communicate plans effectively.
- Plan and design related systems such as transportation or hydraulic structures as needed.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required (this is not an entry-level position).
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience with TBC, AGTEK, or related software tools (required).
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities and the capacity to think critically under pressure.
- High attention to detail, with the ability to identify discrepancies and resolve them effectively.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to collaborate with stakeholders and team members.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required to qualify for the company vehicle and fuel card perk.
