Great opportunity for a Registered Nurse (RN) on our team-oriented and patient-centered STEPDOWN UNIT!
As one of the areas only community hospitals, Chesapeake Regional Healthcare services all seven cities of Hampton Roads and Northeast North Carolina and provides:
- Unit-Based Clinical Educator
- 24/7 Rapid Response/Stroke Team coverage provides support and additional patient care when necessary
- Accredited Chest Pain Center
- Comprehensive Stroke Center
- 24/7 neurosurgery coverage
- Experienced Neurointerventional Surgical Team
This is a full-time position, working 3-12hour shifts a week with every other weekend obligation and minimal on-call.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Diploma or Associate degree in nursing from an accredited school of nursing required
- Current Virginia or compact state RN license required
- Verbal and written communication skills and computer skill required
- BLS & ACLS must be obtained within 90 days of hire
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from an accredited school of nursing preferred
- One (1) year of recent hospital experience and/or previous nursing practice experience preferred
