The Senior Financial Analyst, Investment Management will be a highly analytical and detail-oriented professional responsible for developing and maintaining sophisticated financial models that support both strategic planning and client investment portfolio management. This individual will play a key role in driving business development efforts by producing tailored client proposals and comprehensive reports that communicate the value and progress of holistic financial strategies. The position is instrumental in informing investment decision-making and supporting firm growth through performance analysis and data-driven insights.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and continuously enhance dynamic financial models to support internal financial planning and client-specific portfolio strategies.
- Partner with client-facing teams to develop customized proposals that clearly articulate the firm’s investment capabilities and value proposition.
- Produce personalized financial reports that track clients’ progress toward their financial goals and demonstrate the impact of implemented strategies.
- Analyze and interpret investment performance, ensuring reporting is accurate, relevant, and clearly communicated to both internal teams and clients.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements within modeling and reporting functions to support firmwide scalability and operational efficiency.
- Collaborate closely with the investment team to monitor portfolio activity, evaluate performance trends, and recommend strategic adjustments based on market developments.
- Confidently present daily investment performance updates during internal meetings, demonstrating strong communication and presentation skills.
Qualifications & Core Competencies:
- Solid understanding of investment principles, portfolio construction, and asset allocation strategies.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including the use of complex formulas, data modeling, and analytical tools.
- Strong knowledge of investment performance measurement methodologies such as Modified Dietz, IRR, time-weighted and money-weighted returns, and geometric vs. arithmetic calculations.
- Hands-on experience with FactSet or comparable financial platforms for portfolio analysis and reporting.
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to translate complex data into clear and actionable insights.
Preferred Background:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Statistics, or a related quantitative field.
- 4–6 years of relevant experience in asset management, investment advisory, or a financial services environment.
- Pursuit or completion of a professional designation such as CFA, CAIA, or CFP is strongly preferred.
- Team-oriented mindset with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Salary : $90,000 - $110,000
