REPORTS TO : Security Manager
Job : This is a Part-Time position.
HOURS :
MON & TUES : 2 : 00pm - 10 : 00pm
SAT & SUN : 2 : 00pm - 10 : 00pm
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES : Manage the security and safety of the shipyard premises. Monitor the front gate and access points around the shipyard.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & TASKS :
- Patrol buildings, grounds, and perimeters of the shipyard via golf cart or on foot.
- Investigate suspicious activities and disturbances.
- Immediately report security breaches to designated law enforcement agents.
- Prevent illegal or inappropriate actions by maintaining a high visibility presence.
- Informing personnel and visitors of security procedures.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS : All types of physical movement required for this position to successfully perform the essential functions.
MENTAL REQUIREMENTS : Normal level of visual acuity needed. Must be able to understand and follow directions. Normal hearing level needed. Hand-eye coordination required.
REQUIRED CERFITICATIONS : Maryland Security Guard Card.
HAZARDS : Weather, fumes, moving mechanical parts, equipment, and vibration.
